Programs

Our goal here at Cape Fear Sports Enhancement is to make you the best athlete that you can be. We believe that with proper training protocols and a desire to excel anyone can reach their goals. Athletes of any age, skill, and sport will benefit from what we have to offer. We start our programs by developing an individualized athletic performance profile for each athlete then test them in areas specific to the demands of their chosen sports. Once the baseline information is obtained we go through and develop a personalized program that fits their needs, taking into account predetermined risk factors for injuries of that particular sport and gender. Along with developing an individualized program we also educate the athlete so they are better informed on proper body mechanics and the importance of technique in relation to injury. Our comprehensive program is sure to have our athletes participating at their highest potential. Cape Fear Sports Enhancement

Athletes:

Group Sports Training: This hour long class is intended to give the athletes a safe well instructed exercise environment. Strength, Speed, Agility, Conditioning, and Flexibility are the cornerstones for this class. Class size range from 2-6 and space is limited so please call for availability.

$20 per session

$90 for 5 sessions

Class size 2-6

One On One Sports Training: One-on-one sports training is available for the athlete looking for the extra edge over the competition.  Our individualized program is set up in a way that each individual athlete has their own personalized training program that allows them to progress on their own with a greater focus on each individuals sport and specific needs.  We develop an individualized athletic performance profile for each athlete and then test them in areas specific to the demands of their sport. Once the baseline information is obtained we go through and develop a personalized program that fits their needs.  One-on-one training allows the athletes hands on, one-on-one attention from our trainers.

$45 session

$215 for 5 sessions

$400 for 10 sessions

 

Non-Athletes:

 

Personal Training: One-on-one training for anyone looking to achieve their various health and fitness goals.

Cost:

$45 per session

$215 for 5 sessions

Group Training: Provides individuals with an exercise program to meet their needs and goals, but in a group setting, and without the one-on-one attention.  Groups may be anywhere from 2-6 people training at one time.

$20 per session

$90 for 5 sessions

Endurance Athletes:

Provides runners, cyclist, swimmers, and triathletes a form of cross training to compliment their current workouts.  Whether training to complete your first 5k or participating as an elite level triathlete our program provides that missing component that most endurance athletes are over looking.  Our program integrates  circuit training to improve muscular endurance, VO2max, cardiorespiratory endurance, core strength, flexibility, and prevent overuse injuries as well as overtraining.  We incorporate mostly body weight exercises in order to prepare you for your endurance competition!

Surf Fitness ( Dry Land Training)

Surfing involves excellent balance and explosive maneuvers as well as significant upper and lower body strength.  Like the majority of sports surfing incorporates total body movements and is not limited to one particular muscle group or anatomical plane of the body. Our sport specific training emphasizes biomechanical knowledge and uses basic scientific principles to help improve power, core strength,muscular endurance, muscular strength and flexibility.  Our program is for surfers of every age and skill and will prepare your body for anything surfing will throw your way.

Yoga

Now offering Yoga for Athletes with Holly Konrady every Tuesday night at 6:00 pm.  The class is donation based so you pay what you can.

Thursday night yoga with Nicole Lancaster. All levels welcome, pay by donation.  Join Nicole for a fun, energetic practice and experience the benefits of yoga for yourself!

For everyone:

Nutrition

We have a registered dietitian on-site who specializes in Sports Nutrition, Weight Management, and Wellness.  This program is available for anyone.  This could be for the athlete who is trying to gain lean muscle mass as well as for the general public who may be trying to lose weight and decrease their percent body fat.

CPR Classes Now Available

Do you need to renew or obtain your CPR Certification?

We are now offering re certification/certification classes in CPR through the American Heart Association.
